Our packages differ between customers but have similarities. Please find below details of a potential package. The overall aim of a “full package” (every possible search engine covered) would be that no matter how an end user decides to search or which there preferred search engine is, our customer will still be listed. Google Listings – First Page Listings (main service)


 Using the popular “AdWords” service and our credentials as a “Qualified Google Advertising Professional” we are able to list your company’s website potentially anywhere on Google you like based on your budget.

Yahoo Listings – First position on sponsored links (optional extra)

Using the search marketing tools of Yahoo we are able to get a good balance of keywords and CPC allowing us to attain high positions for agreed search phrases for your company (e.g. Builder Nottingham”)

Msn (Bing) Listings – First Position on sponsored links (optional extra)
Using the latest version of Microsoft’s “adCenter” we are able to optimise the relevant keywords to enable us to get your website ranked on the first position of the sponsored results (e.g. Builders in Nottingham”)


Ask.com Listings – First Position on sponsored links (optional extra)


 We are fully trained in the use of ASL (ask sponsored listings) connecting you to 75 million unique users, this includes many that you won’t find on Google, Yahoo or Msn. The unique part of Ask which made it so popular in the 90’s was you could simply ask it a question as opposed to a generic search.

Google Mobile – First Page Position (Bolt-On)
Being listed on Google mobile is becoming increasingly popular as mobile phones are becoming more and more web compliant, since the introduction Apples Iphone and other similar 3g / wifi enabled mobile devices. Mobile surfing has increased dramatically, many of our customers benefit massively from having this “bolt-on”. For instance if you are locked out of your home and require a locksmith, it is likely you do not have a phonebook in the car but VERY likely you will have your mobile phone at hand. Performing a quick search for a “locksmith Nottingham” it is very important our client comes up in a priority position so he is not missed, and can convert the lead into a job.

 

Google Search Partners – First Page position (Bolt-on)
More and more Internet Search engines are giving up on their unique search results and joining the “Google Search Partners” system, allowing their own results to be listed coupled with Google listings, as we are a “Qualified Google Advertising Professional” we are able to enable the “Google search partner listings” meaning your listing will not only appear on Google, but will also appear on Googles ever growing list of search partners,  a good example of this would be “AOL”. With this Bolt-on enabled anybody performing a search for “builder in Nottingham” on AOL.co.uk or any of the other search partner sites will see the listing we are promoting.

Bespoke Website Design

(Can be purchased separate however on rare occasions can be included in a package to help our client convert site hits to business)

Our websites are second to none, built from scratch to your needs and specifications using an initial design brief provided through our user interface on our website (available once you become a customer) followed by telephone consultations with your very own designer, the sites will not go live until you are fully happy with the website.

 


Shield Credits

We allow you many options of customisation, streamlining the process by using our very own “shield credits” system. Allowing you to pick and choose exactly what features you want your website to have, this helps keep costs down and allows you and your designer to perfectly attend to your needs.


Extra Shield Credits can be redeemed at any point during your time with Shield Marketing, they can be redeemed for anything from “Flash Intro’s” to “Hit counters” please find a full list here. Don’t see it on the list? We can do just about anything please ask for details if there is something specific you want.

 


Typical Costs

Due to the bespoke nature of all our packages and every businesses needs varying we are unable to offer a "one price fits all" solution. However we do have an average cost, please find the details below.

  • Typical one off set up fee: £299.99
- The set up fee is charged once and once only whether the customer is with us one year or ten, it accounts for the initial setting up of the package, any relevant domain names and/or software required to perform the services offered including website hosting, email and any additional costs.
  • Typical monthly maintenance fee: £99
- This fee covers an average amount of clicks received to the customers website through search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing, Also in some cases Google search partners and Google Mobile will be included. This also includes our 10-15% average management fee for looking after the campaigns.

 

As specified these prices are a typical example of a general customers package however in some cases depending on trade, area and advertiser competition setup fees and monthly fees may be significantly higher. This will be discussed prior to signing up with our company and there are no hidden fees and once a fee has been agreed it will not increase for the duration of the contract unless the customer requests additional search engines or more competitive key phrases.
